ATHENS, GREECE!

 Can you guess where we are this morning?

Thankfully, we are in the Aegean Salon lounge, waiting on our flight to Athens!  Don’t EVEN ask what we have gone through to get here! 🤪🤪🤪 Let’s just say we should have had time for a four course breakfast — our cup of coffee sure was GOOD!!!  

We leisurely strolled to our gate where Mike was told that he and Patte were “STAND BY”!  “Many people (insert French accent here) are in the same situation on this flight” they added.  Hmmmm.  (Insert a moment of panic for Mike, Patte, John and Jani! 😳😳😳😳)  

We literally didn’t know until the VERY LAST MOMENT if they were on or if they (we decided to stay with them regardless) were spending another night in Paris!  We were planning a dinner on the Eiffel Tower when we were told, “You are on!”  Good news for us—not so good news for many other people!  

So we sat back, took a deep breath, and relaxed for the three hour flight, leaving the chaos that is France behind!

We arrived in Greece unscathed, travelled to our Airbnb and just look at our view!

A quick stroll up the road brought us to a delightful Greek restaurant where we thoroughly enjoyed our first Greek dinner!  We all rated it A+ and sips of Ouzo made it all the better!  CHEERS!

And goodnight from Athens, Greece!  (Not going to even attempt to say that in Greek—MUCH too difficult at this point!)  But I’ll leave you something MEMORABLE, none-the-less…..
